2018 Ordeal Registrations
All candidates for the Ordeal will need to register at
https://scoutingevent.com/433-ordeal as soon as possible after elections. Ordeal dates are posted on that site. June, July, and August Ordeals will be at the Manatoc Scout Reservation. The September Ordeal will be at Camp Stambaugh. Ordeals are limited to 55 candidates, and are filled on a first come, first served basis.
Please remember that having a Candidate “Called-Out” is not a pre-requisite to participating in an Ordeal, it is just a “public” recognition of their election.

https://scoutingevent.com/433-noac_apply to apply to contingent. We have space for 22 youth and 7 adults. The contingent will be selected from the Arrowmen who express interest using this application procedure. The working budget for the trip is approximately $800.00 but is still a bit of a work in progress. Applications will close on December 24, 2017 and those selected will be notified shortly thereafter.

Order of the Arrow Troop Representative and The Order of the Arrow Troop Adviser
The Order of the Arrow Troop Representative is a youth serving his troop as the primary liaison to the troop’s lodge or chapter. He meets the unit’s needs by providing a communication and programmatic link to and from all Arrowmen, Scouts who are not presently members of the Order, and adult leaders. These efforts are meant to assist the unit and its members in achieving the mission of the Boy Scouts of America, and at the same time fulfilling the lodge’s role in the Strategic Plan of the Order of the Arrow of being an integral part of the council. By setting a good example, he will enhance the image of the Order as a service arm to his unit.
